What is the PreeMe Technology Platform?Â
This is a bedside technology platform that allows every NICU to provide a customized NICU app for NICU parents. There are two parts to the PreeMe platform.
“How's my baby doing?” “When can my baby go home?”
PreeMe app for parents
There is never enough time for NICU teams to communicate all the complex variables they are analyzing to take care of a preemie baby.
This app helps parents and medical teams partner together for baby’s best outcome. It harmonizes communication between parents and medical teams, empowering parents with hands-on knowledge so they are ready to take their baby’s home at discharge.
It is all the big and little things every NICU team wants parents to know, if they had all the time in the world.
PreeMe content template system for NICU teams
NICU medicine, parent-support, physical therapy, and mental health content (video and text) was created by NICU experts to help NICU teams standardize communication and patient education easily and efficiently.
This information is matched to baby’s daily illness severity. We work with every NICU to customize and integrate their unit’s specific content with ours. Every NICU also has access to our library of expert videos, and they can make their own videos that will go straight into their PreeMe App.
Every NICU gets a unique code that unlocks their own customized app for their unit only.

How does it work?
We created a validated and proprietary PreeMe Color System that helps NICU teams communicate a baby’s changing illness severity to parents in easy to understand color language.
This system tracks NICU care and progress across five body systems: Breathing, Eating, Sleeping, Temperature Regulation (homeostasis), and Growth.
Each key area moves through four color stages: Purple (high NICU care), Blue (moderate), Orange (low), Yellow (monitoring and homebound).
This system allows NICU teams to customize important education and support content that is unique to their unit.
This technology was developed from many years of research into NICU illness severity, health communication, and parent experiences across many NICU trajectories.
